The city of Hargrave is one of many across the world facing a war between human and mutantkind. It is a very modern city, taking place in modern times, with computers, skyscrapers, guns and machines. It has been split into four districts, respectively known as Charis, Harlow, Isolde and Osiris. Each district holds the different levels of wealth status among the people. One district for the rich, another for the middle-classed and a third for the poor. And the last district? The last district is for the mutant scum, as Hargrave's government has labeled them to be.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]the northern area of the city is specifically owned and looked after my the government. the mayor's city hall is stationed here, as is the military compound. the wealthy man has an entire army working beneath him- made almost specifically to take down the mutants infesting the city. the wealthy live in these parts, as do the soldiers. anyone who signs up for their army gets an immediate discount on the houses in the charis district and are required to live in this district, in case an emergency arises. the charis district is very clean and proper, while the laws in that specific area are watched more closely.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]the harlow district is labeled as the most 'sketchy' district. all of the nightlife is in here. from concerts and restaurants to bars and strip clubs. there is a lot of gang activity that goes on in this district, consisting mostly of the human gangs, but there are a few mutant gangs that hang around. fortunately- or unfortunately?-, the government tends to crack down on them pretty fast. the houses in this area are more or less shacks. one bedroom, maybe two if you're lucky, and in the worst condition. broken house accessories, moldy floors, no running water. not all of the houses are like this. if they aren't, they're probably just tiny. most of the homes are also in apartment buildings.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]in isolde district, the least amounts of war and battle happens. it's generally very calm here when it comes to the soldiers and mutants, though it's very busy. there's a lot of rush hour in the day due to the malls being in this district, as well as most of the businesses. the middle working class have their own areas of homes scattered through the isolde districts, with decent sized houses in pretty good condition. you can also find the schools in this area, so this tends to be the most busy district of the four with all that's going on.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]most of the humans in the city don't ever visit this district. it's dangerous and is barely counted as part of the city these days. a war raged in the osiris district between the soldiers and the rebel army. the rebels lost that day and it left osiris in ruins. buildings were blown to pieces and there is little to no electricity that runs through this area of the town. there are few buildings left standing, but the mutants use every one that they can to house their refugees. the soldiers patrol through the osiris district almost daily and refugee scouts have to warn the people when the soldiers are coming so that they can all go into hiding again.

[/blockquote][/blockquote][/font]hargrave city is surrounded almost entirely by forest. the forest is where the rebel armies live. they own the place. soldiers and government members who enter may be murdered on sight by any rebel army patrolling their territory. though human civilians are generally safe. the rebels- most of them, at least- mean no harm toward them. this doesn't mean that everything beyond hargrave belongs to the mutants. the cemetery exists outside the city and that is owned by everyone. even mutants bury their dead there, though the humans look down on it. everything outside of hargrave is free for anyone to walk across. but as soon as you're in the forest, you're at risk of being watched and targeted.
