charis is filled with the big, pricey, family houses, as well as countless mansions. unless you work for the government or won the lottery, you're probably not going to get anywhere past the gates of these homes.

this building, four stories tall, holds the entire government. this area is the main target to rebel attacks and it also holds the court in order to label all mutants guilty of being, well, mutants.

| military compound
if you are a soldier working for the government, you will be spending most of your days here, if you're not on patrol. likewise, if you're a mutant captured by the soldiers, they keep you imprisoned here.

| stonegrave testing facility
stonegrave is the home to all the mad scientists of the city. it is a tall, skinny building with a total of eight floors, each floor specializing in mutants of certain powers. the scientists here test on them, extract their dna, and are even said to inject these genes into humans.

| charis streets
a lot of the time, these streets are barren, resulting in a lot of people walking along them like they aren't in any danger. most of the vehicles that travel on them are used by the military when they go on their patrols. though the civilian cars that you see here are owned by wealthy families. so you may see limousines and your much too pricey dream cars.

| central library
this is the only library in all the city, but it has every book to fit everyone's needs. rows upon rows of books that go up five stories. just pay for one library card and you're set for the rest of your life.

the houses and apartments around here and cheap. that's probably because they're small, cold and sometimes have rat problems. but if you can find your ways around these problems, then these homes could be right for you.

clubs, bars, concerts, a couple of less healthy restaurants, and even a bit of adult entertainment. don't worry, most of the places here are also open in the day. but most people don't want to be caught in these places, so they're most active at night.

| harlow police station
the station is underemployed and desperately searching for more officers, especially with the rise in crime ever since the law against mutants was created. the building is small, but beneath it is the large prison, hidden underground and growing empty. the police haven't been having luck at catching criminals these days.

| the back alleys
just what every sketchy district needs. the alleys are a shortcut to get where you want, but everyone knows that you're going to get mugged and shanked if you use the alleys. then again, it's also a good place if you want to mug or shank someone.

| eastern isolde district |
| isolde residential area - 1 Viewing
there are no mansions in this district, but the homes are family sized and comfortable. there are several apartment buildings for residents to live in, as well as many houses to choose from. almost everyone who lives around here is human and, if they aren't a human, then they probably don't leave their house very much.

this is the mall with all the stores you really need. whether you're searching for clothing, food, electronics or gifts, there's going to be a store in this mall that has what you're looking for. it's three stories tall and the main attraction for anyone visiting the isolde district.

you can expect every new movie to be showing here on the very day it comes out. the cinema hates to disappoint its customers and draws them in with their promises of the best movies, as well as with their low costs to get inside.

| the glass cutlery
unlike all the fast food restaurants found in the mall, this restaurant is made out of class. the food is expensive and the light is by candles. you can find the most pricey wine as well as the most charming waiters. this restaurant was built with the rich in mind, but also for those who are aiming to impress someone.

| st. maria's hospital
there area few hospitals in the city, but st. maria's is the largest and most commonly used. the doctors there are reliable, though there are ghost stories that leave the hospital's walls about people's loved ones still lingering here. it scares many patients away, but brings many heartbroken visitors to return.

| west isolde school district
the elementary school, high school and college are all in the same vicinity of the isolde district. there are no other schools in the city besides these three, making them all large buildings in order fit all of the students in the city. chances are, if you're still young, you're going to spending most of your time here.

| residential rubble
this use to be, and still is, the home to many people, humans and mutants alike. but it's now the mutant refugees who live in groups scattered throughout these crumbling, dirty homes. there are many houses still in tact, but there is nowhere here with electricity or hot water anymore.

the grass here is yellow and dying and the trees are naked and equally as dead. there is a playground in the park for children, but it's dangerous. it's old and all the paint is chipping. jagged metal sticks from the slide and most of the swings have fallen off. the park is no longer welcoming.

| osiris orphanage
though it's in ruins, just as the rest of the district is, this building has been used to look after the children and younger mutants who have been labeled as refugees. it is one of the few buildings in the area with a generator to supply electricity. the refugees try to keep all the children in this safe place, away from harm's way.

| cardinal fountain
the fountains remains in one piece in the dead middle of the district. in the center of the fountain is a seven foot tall, stone serpent, spouting water overhead from its mouth. the fountain is used as a wishing well and many coins and items lay at the bottom of it from people hoping for a peaceful life to come soon.

some people call it the rundown 'bar' or osiris, but they allow everyone inside. the alcohol there is cheap and almost tasteless, but they don't make anyone pay for it. children aren't given alcohol, but the man who owns the place always has free juice for the young ones.

the cemetery contains the bodies of both humans and mutants alike. there are always those rumors of zombies and ghosts, which is why it becomes even creepier at nightfall.

| miran lake
it's a well-size lake that leads to a river, which spirals off into the nearby forest. the water is fresh and clear, though there are rumors of bodies being dumped in these waters. false rumors. the lake is empty from bodies and is a good fresh water supply, often used by the mutant rebels.
