He's purely a manipulative personality, cunning and deceptive in his tactics to achieve what he desires from others. It is rare and only after achieving his respect (another fair challenge) that one could ask the small favor; expect to be called on it on a later date. He's incredibly selfish and holds all others to their faults to survive. With a great deal of passion in his veins, he becomes determined when faced with a worthy task; only problem is finding a task that catches his interests. Stubborn and fickle, Fionn is all about his own convenience which typically don't involve the input of others. Those things being said, Fionn is very picky about those he forms relationships with others. He prides himself in being able to analyze a person and recognize whether they are even worth his time acknowledging. Which, often enough, doesn't happen. However, the self-reliant host does not isolate himself from the company of others; only the aspects that threaten to cripple him such as commitment. He's plenty humorous and sarcastic (much at the discomfort of others), which helps soften the blow of just how cocky he is. Just don't be surprised to have one excellent night with him and then never speak to him again. Jumping down people's throats and pulling out their guts is where he gets a majority of his confidence from. Fionn can also be a lot of a bully, enjoying the power it gives him to have someone squirming anxiously under his foot. Often times he'll use the baiting guide book, luring women with smooth words containing intelligence and humor or simply create rivalries between pairs of prey to achieve his attentions. I honestly doubt Fionn being capable of genuinely loving someone, being a bit of a commitment phobe. Lust is about pleasing oneself; love is about pleasing someone else. He can tune into others' emotions plenty, it's acknowledging them that's the drawback. The only woman in his life he genuinely worries for is his mother. He's skeptical of the concept of love after witnessing the dynamics of marriage through his parents' relationship and has no goals for the future. That being said, if someone else takes a fancy to him, he'll milk it for what it's worth. Koota Dubois. A mercenary, I am sure his bath has crossed with Fionn's before. He tries not to side with anyone in the war, so if Fionn needed a job of him, he will most likely accept it - however he himself is a mutant so he is probably often wary around Fionn and does his bes tot hide it. He would also flirt - hetero or not, it won't stop Koota from complimenting the other on his .. assets and being blunt about his attraction. He has no reason to hide it -- though he would do it softly, not wanting to earn the other's bad side. he is good business no doubt.

Trevor Underwood. A great source of business. Trevor loves his job, very much, and is more then willing to drag the freaks Fionn's way, once he's done with them. He is known for his torture though, so they may be a bit roughed up when tossed to the trader's feet - at least it makes them easier to break. That is Trevor's special area - breaking people. If Fionn had someone that he couldn't, Trevor would offer his talents. He has nothing against mutants, being 'special' himself - he just enjoys the thrill of the 'game' - that is, the pain he can inflect. He's a bit of a freak. Either way - he'd respect Fionn.

I really like Fionn, but Ella won't like him AT ALL. She can think of little else worse than a man who hurts and enslaves innocents for profit. Even though her singing and peace-making career make her stand out, and somewhat of a target for the government, she has enough popularity in the masses and publicity to protect her. This would put them in an awkward position if they were to ever meet; two people of great sway and wealth with completely opposite views.

SO THIS IS MY IDEA.

He has auctions where he sells off mutants to the highest bidder, right? Well what if one day Ella came in disguise (aka in a wig...yeah she sucks at disguises) and bid the highest on EVERY SINGLE MUTANT. She would of course be buying them to bring them safely to the refugees, and since Fionn is smart he might suspect something like this. He might approach her, since she did just buy every mutant for auction, and could recognize her or not or...I don't know, that's up to you.

BUT ELLA would find him strangely attractive. She would suppress it though and would be courteous but cold with him. She's extremely against violence so would never dream of starting anything with him, and if it were revealed/if he suspected who she was he would not be able to harm her without serious repercussions either. And that would lead to tension and hidden threats in perfectly polite and civil conversation and AHHHHH DRAMA <3

As far as business goes, it's Koota's skills that Fionn needs, not the cash from his arse in a cage. I think they could have a tolerable working relationship if Koota kept his mouth shut... Which would lead to amusing things. No question that he's a good asset to have.

FIONN && TREVOR

Sadistic, confident jerks? Fionn does draw some lines as far as the condition his merchandise remains in, since you can't sell broken goods. I'm sure that he still allows Trevor some 'special time' with the pets though. Mutual respect (practically friends, by Fionn's standards).

FIONN && ELLA

I like some aspects of the idea. Where her 'splurge' on mutants would put a heavy weight in his wallet, he'd likely want to introduce himself and make a business partner out of this bidder. From what you've said about her reputation, I'm certain Fionn would recognize her - he is very observant and no doubt knows about her career and bandwagons of being a pretty little daisy.

As far as 'he can't hurt her or else shit goes down', I disagree. Especially if she were to be stirring him up in an auction house or at his estate, he has homefield advantage. He also has no shame or respect for flighty bugs like herself flying about his face. Annoyed, he'd swat her hard and give her another if she protested.

Well if he was to "swat her down" she would not fight back, but probably offer to buy more mutants. Ella has quite enough money to become a big buyer from Fionn. She wouldn't like that her money was going to him, but as long as she could get the mutants out of cages and to safety she would do it. So maybe sort of business partners, unless he would not sell to her on principal; I don't know if he values money or the ongoing enslavement of mutants more. Either way it would be interesting to rp their meeting :3
